Army Life
We all know about the soldiers who go on tour and the struggle they have whilst living in conditions we could only imagine, but what about the soldiers who battle the war at home, the spouses and the children who carry on each day with a piece of their lives in the most dangerous places on earth.
In this series, I want to look at how it is to live in a barracks, to be part of a community of strength. This body of work observes the families left behind and what it is like to live within the armed forces community and how it differs from normal civilian life. The work is a documentation of the daily life for a family in the army showing the home life and what it’s like to be confined to the barracks.
