The Natural Lens

For my final major project I have been photographing my mother whose eyesight has been gradually failing for the past 5 years due to having a number of diseases in both of her eyes. My mother suffers from 3 diseases in both of her eyes, which are Macular Edema, Uveitis and Cataracts. I have been collaborating with my mother on these photos as to try and fully understand what it is my mother see’s and how she copes with her failing sight in her day to day life, as each disease effects her eyes in a different way.
