Once Upon A Time

Fairytales commonly contain the idea of transformation at their heart.

What can initially be perceived as enchanting and innocent is often revealed as something more sinister and malevolent as the story unfolds.

Echoing an environment that undergoes a similar daily change, The Forest can feel alluring, magical and a place that allows the imagination to wonder. But it can also change from an innocent playground to a world of hidden and unknown sights and sounds, full of fears and uncertainty.

Once Upon a Time has explored manipulation, and intervention in order to blur the line of perception between the psychological safety of the natural world with the darker subconscious side of our human nature.

The lack of human presence invites the viewer to become the main character within these fictitious pages.
